LIGHT OFFERINGS
In Tibetan Buddhism light is a symbol of wisdom and will therefore be often presented to the deities.
Tongchoe
1000 lights will be burning for one whole day.
Bumchoe
100 000 electrical lightchains will be attached to the mainbuilding of the monastery and will be burning from 8 pm to 5 am.
