Mandalas darbringen

Das Darbringen von Mandalas ist eine äußerst kraftvolle Methode, um schnell Verdienste anzusammeln und Verwirklichungen zu erreichen. Die tibetischen Lamas sagen, dass wir im Westen die buddhistischen Lehren intellektuell zwar sehr leicht verstehen würden, aber sie nicht wirklich umsetzen können, weil uns dafür die nötigen Verdienste fehlten. Um ein großes Ziel wie z.B. Bodhicitta zu erreichen, brauchen wir viel Kraft und um diese Kraft zu bekommen, ist das Darbringen von Mandalas am besten geeignet.
Außer dem Ansammeln von Verdiensten ist das Bereinigen von Karma gleichermaßen wichtig.
Mit der Mandala-Praxis können wir alle Hindernisse zu gegenwärtigem und ultimativem Glück befrieden. Wir sammeln Verdienste an und diese wiederum hängen von Opfergaben ab.  Die verdienstvollste Opfergabe ist das Mandala.
Wir können sowohl die lange Form des Mandalas darbringen als auch die kurze.
Benötigt wird ein Mandala-Set (s. Foto) aus einem guten Material. Es kann aus Kupfer, Messing, Silber oder Gold bestehen, aber auch aus gehäkelten Perlen oder aus Steinen.

Mandala offering

The mandala offering is a very powerful method for quickly accumulating merit and gaining realizations. Tibetan Lamas say that we Westerners easily understand the buddhist teachings, however we are not really capable to put them into practice because of of lack of merit. In ordert o achieve a big goal like Bodhicitta a great amount of power is needed and for this the mandala offering is best.
Except accumulation of merit the purification of karma is equally important.
Through the mandala offering we can pacify all obstacles for temporal and ultimate happiness. We accumulate merits and these depend on offerings. The most meritious offering ist he mandala offering.
We can offer the short or the long form.
To practice the mandala offering you need a mandala Set made of good material like copper, brass, silver or gold, it can also be out of perls or stones.
The great master Je Tsongkhapa (1357-1419)  offered 1.800.000 mandalas.
